During the Spring of 2026, I interned at Walt Disney Imagineering as a Themed Lighting Design Intern. During my spring with the Themed Lighting team, I worked on numerous custom themed fixtures across several Disney IPs. Each of these lights and small projects were different, but generally spanned researching and compiling, sketching and modeling, and making developed mockups (like 3D printing or foam core) to test my ideation out. During this process, I learned several new softwares and mainly did my work in Revit, Fusion, and 3ds Max.
Though this work was some of my favorite design work I’ve done, it was private intellectual property and not available for my portfolio. To mitigate this and to keep my creative process fluid while working, I, with the help of my incredible Themed Lighting team, worked on individually prompted projects during and after my internship to complement my formal work while exercising some of the same skills, some compilations of which are below!
